Turn 12 Grill - Monterey

Really good food and friendly service. The menu has so much to offer it is hard to make a choice! The restaurant has a really cool racing theme and memorabilia being near the famed Laguna Seca raceway.

This will be my third bad review of this place which serves the best food!!!! The servers are great! The cooks are awesome!!! And that's why we keep giving Turn 12 chance after chance for a good review. Tonight it was the greeter. We requested seating in the bar. He told us it was open seating except at some tables but apparently we didn't understand. Our bad!!! So we sat at a table that had bench seating with a back and it was in the bar. The greeter immediately found us and in his loud gruff embarrassing voice told us that table was not open seating. Okay!!! Then seat us!! But don't yell at us. He never offered us seating. He just very loudly let us and everyone else know we made a mistake. We were so embarrassed that we left and had a wonderful meal at Crown and Anchor. So disappointed because we were looking forward to a great meal there.

Unhappy for the second time. No fun. No energy. Go somewhere else.

This is truly an underrated place from my experience, sat right in the middle of downtown Monterey and with some of the best prices for quality food. The service was spectacular. Never needed to call a waiter over, they were very vigilant and tended to our every need without us even needing to ask. I'd recommend trying the Pesto Pizza if you like artichokes!
