Rockfish Harbor Grill - Monterey

The Scampi here was the best meal I’ve eaten on a three week vacation through central California. The ocean view is amazing and the service was also great. It’s a bit pricy for sure, but in my opinion it’s fair value. My wife is vegetarian and they had a very good vegetable tower entree.

Their online booking system is useless. It told us that there were no tables til 8pm. We got there to a totally empty restaurant!! Ring for a table. Service was attentive once they realised we were a party of 2 not 8 people. Starters are large so we shared one. Food was tasty, freshly cooked. Would have been nicer earlier in the evening. Nice setting by the water.

Food is excellent, friendly service. We were served soon after ordering. Appropriate prices and a beautiful view of the Harbour. Good accessibility. We recommend the corner table for the best view.

Plenty of great views at this seafood restaurant at the end of the pier. A good selection of wines and beers on the drink list. Firecracker shrimps and shrimp cocktail were standout dishes.

Recently had my first visit. Almost every table had access to a nice view. Initially, the service was a little slow, but the food was very good. I was surprised at the quality and enjoyed one of the best meals I've had on the wharf.
