Crab Louie's Bistro - Monterey

Seafood Pasta made my taste buds dance. 10/10 perfect mix for seafood. The coconut puwn was amazing, the Clam-Chowder had a great mix of spices and a ton of shell! Great service all around! Come back!

After a long day whale watching with our guys and working out a dramamine-induced haze, this place was all we needed to be. It is an intimate place with perhaps a dozen tables, some of which have great views of the marina and its local fauna. The food was hearty, tasty and generous (cioppino with very fresh shellfish and crab-stuffed sea bass were in place), but the real highlight here was the service. Amazingly attentive waiting staff was aware of our parental tiredness and went out of the way to make our visit as smooth and pleasant as possible to feed from the rush of children meals through the kitchen to feed them to compose two of our three adult drinks to open a few windows to feed our ocean-initiated guys some curious gulls a French frit. I would come back here alone, but the seafood was also excellent!

Absolutely amazing customer service! The staff was very friendly and welcoming, gave excellent suggestions for the menu and was very attentive to their guests. Thank you for this beautiful treatment and wonderful food. We will return to this facility in the future!

Is it small, yes. Is that bad, no. I believe you call it quaint. We were seated by the windows in the back. Nice view, a good place to rest. I don't know what these people want with a complimentary appetizer albeit not large it was tasty, crispy, and free. Prices are comparable to the area we were in. Bottom line don't visit if you don't understand that fact. Everyone was nice, the lady out front laughed and chatted us up per her job. I'd say stop by and try it out, the foods not bad the atmosphere is a window into the past. Don't be afraid to be human. It's been forever since I visited, it's like a nostalgic ride into yesteryear for me. I hope everyone enjoys the time here, don't sweat the small stuff live life and have a good time.
