I no longer had a heart to go to the BUFFALO GRILL of MONTEREAU (77) because I was too disappointed by what had become this Restaurant, I prefer to do the kilometers but I occasionally go on that of Nemours (77). However to please my 12-year-old daughter, I wanted to take her to lunch in the Restaurant that she loved so much before, hoping that since all this time, the reception and quality would have changed... Alas I would have better read the reviews before returning, my great regret is not to have done it... The smile I had when I arrived was very quickly faded. The fact that we are only 2, the server installed us in a small corner of the restaurant, or were already 2 other small tables of 2 people, we were too close to each other, impossible to chat with my daughter, the conversation of our table neighbours had become ours so close we were so close.... However, there were other tables available, tables of 4 people, that is, it's better than eating on each other... I can tell you that the Restaurant was not crowded, I might have had to ask myself the question... I wanted not to have asked to change places, I think that my table neighbours would have preferred as there was nothing pleasant to everyone listening to the conversations of others, but there was no choice, too narrow... This said the waiter might not want to salt other table corners, all center on the same part of the restaurant, it's better for him, but unpleasant for us client. The map has changed, the menus we knew have disappeared, finished the Sheriff or Sheriff menu, yet they still appear on the site of the BUFFALO GRILL Montereau, but on site, it is no longer at all... will you know why? the new menus are much less favorable, less appetizing, the drinks are no longer included in the price, you have to order them in addition to the menu, okay no problem, anyway there are a lot of increases 2€, 1 €... on the card, the smallest thing is a surplus.. everything has changed... it's disappointing. No problem, we adapt. The waiter forgets a lot of things, the little salads in entry, even my table neighbors didn't have them, I asked another server if the little welcome salads had also been removed and he told me no! My colleague just forgot to give them to you! ah! That said, it's no longer the salads we've known, I remember that the sauce was doing a lot, it was excellent and there it's a water-cut sauce, it's very fade where then the salad wasn't sprinkled, in any case, the salads have nothing to do with what we've known, disappointed my daughter who loved this salad. In fact, I spent my time claiming things that usually brought us salad, bread.... Well the last thing I asked for is a drink and a sauce that we didn't have, the waiter told me that he had forgotten us and I gave up, I only thought of one thing, to pay and to go, we didn't even take the time to make a dessert... I saw 2 customers who didn't look satisfied either, given the gestures they were doing... When even a positive point in history the false net was tender, it must be recognized. Finally, I will keep my chances at BUFFALO GRILL Nemours and for Montereau I will definitely give up, at least for a few years hoping that one day the positive reviews come back, but I will take care to read the reviews before returning. The waiter told me that the card was going to change again on 6 July 2023, I think the prices will increase again, it's in the air of time, everything increases... You will have understood I do not invite you to go to BUFFALO GRILL, but sometimes you fall under a good day or on the right server, you may not be disappointed... Good courage.
Detestable atmosphere at Buffalo Grill de Montereau. At the beginning, we bend with pleasure to a new method of ordering by QR code. My husband pays the bill online by adding coffees at the end of dinner. Except we're forgotten. There are a number of clients at the cash and patients, we are waiting for staff to come back to us. We're finally going to heal the chief at the crate, the one who looked in our direction, saw that we were waiting without doing anything. My husband tells him we ordered and paid coffee. Clearly outdated, he tells us that we're gonna have to hurry now because he's gonna shut up and go. The way, shape, tone shocks us and other customers. Going back to our cafes, I'm telling him my discontent. He denies his unpleasant remark and tells us that he never had such remarks. That he do his work, that he obeys his direction and that he must close the establishment. The answer is dishonest. He doesn't take it. The neighbouring customers are in solidarity and support our intervention: they also, visibly, are pushed out.
