Bidrage med feedback(NOTE: not too many pictures taken as the food was really distracting) They earned every point on that Micheline star! MommaK, Glammom and I had an amazingly wonderful time at TriCiclo. We found it unexpectedly while happily wandering through Madrid. Immediately we made a reservation. This place took us promptly, had a wonderful wine list and a smaller menu (2 pages) I love this as this means they spend more time on each dish. MommaK and I each had the chefs 6 course tasting menu no idea what we'd get (like Omikase) well oo wa! Cabbage wrapped beef, prawns wrapped in a mint leaf, just to name a few! The mix and matches were well thought out and the taste was astounding! Glammom had ceviche and steak tartar perfectly seasoned. This was heaven! The room was nicely decorated and the staff well trained. The sound track was a bit weird with something like Muzak in the background but who cares?! Worth it, worth it, WORTH IT! Go you fools!
A modern tapas restaurant. We walked in for a late lunch without reservations and was able to get seated without an issue. Lucky us! All the staff were attentive, patient and kind. Our waiter patiently and explained what each dish was and if there was a language barrier, he grabbed someone who can explain to us in English. Presentation was a 10/10 and all the flavors worked well together. We only ordered two raw tapas, but after trying the oyster and prawns, I wished we had also ordered the ceviche dishes it was our fav. I would come back solely just for the bread and olive oil lol, it was that good! This will be on our recommendation list for our friends visiting Madrid.
Amazing service and food. We got the 9 course and 2 dessert entourage which was not to disappoint. This Michelin rated restaurant was superb from display to taste to service. Tucked in its quaint from the outside and more expensive than your typical places in Madrid but worth every euro. They serve bread selections throughout the course and of course you must choose a wine to go with your meal bc Spain duh. Even your best wine won't run you more than $50 euros. Europe is strange in that any tipping at all is very unexpected but we def tipped well bc we showed up an hour before their 11pm late curfew and then of course ended up ordering the whole farm but they were so gracious in allowing us to enjoy and even provided an extra after dinner liquor sipper. Check the pics for some mouth wAtering goodness
Madrid is known for exceptional food and this spot a Michellin Bib Gourmand was beyond expectation! This is an exceptional restaurant with atmosphere, service and excellent cuisine. The main dining area feels like a cave with access to nature. Rustic and charming it compliments the dishes. The oxtail and potato special starter was amazing. Next on our list was oysters from France both grilled and marinaded. We chose wine by the glass to meet each dish. Cava with oysters. Rose with oxtail and then leeks and mushrooms. The tinto vino for the rest. I would encourage creating your own tasting menu as we did. Go from tapas dishes to veggies and finish with a meat. I love that the portions included half plate options. It made the tasting light and fun! Dessert is not to be missed. And I don't want to forget the amazing farm fresh bread and smoked butter!
