Food ok, nothing special. Carminho the waitress saved the evening with her joly disposition. Very loud, could hardly hear each other. Was expecting more for the type of restaurant that it is.

The restaurant is in business for quite some time and is deemed a high class one. Don 't know, it 's not my every meal out restaurant, went there invited by a long time friend. The place was as noisy as can be. What kind of saved the experience for me, besides the company, was the bacalhau and the attendant, Carmo(? , who endured our critiquing of the noise and the look of the eyes on some of the fish on display with a nonchalant attitude. Anyway, this is what happened to me and friends. Maybe we didn 't get lucky this time...

If you love seafood then this is definitely one to go to. Despite the 'sailors ' uniforms on the staff and the somewhat 'posh ' interior, the welcome is quite warm despite the slightly faded front façade. We ordered our meals but got something quite different however having seen what was brought to us we were amazed with the quality and portion sizes of the rather large sharing casserole dish full of cod, potatoes, onions etc. Incredibly good value as well less than 50Eu for two including drinks. I would visit again and not be put off they are delivering a high quality food service and despite the quietly spoken, reserved clientele, it is a seafood paradise with good food at great prices.
