O Leilao - Montemor-o-Novo

Basic food typical of this region. Most dishes are nicely served and reasonably well cooked but they are not exactly great. If you are looking for traditional food you could potentially eat at an Alentejo home this is a good place to eat, if you are looking for restaurant level quality and innovation, not really.

Best meat dishes I ever had!!! I ordered Plumas de Porco, and it melts in your mouth!!! I tasted my son's Bife a cortador, and the same, it was so delicious their shrimp omelette and arroz da tamboril was delicious too.. Of course, I have to taste my family's orders as I was very impressed with my order. But please ask the size of the portions as their 1 person portion is quite a lot for me. The side dish Migas espargos (mashed bread with asparagus was amazing as well!!! I can't say much more but this restaurant is a must when you are in montemor-o-novo. And parking is not a problem here as they have a huge parking area. Staff are very kind and professional. They don't speak English but with some Google translator, you should be able to order :

One of the best places to lunch/dinner in Montemor-o-Novo. They have great typical food at affordable prices and the service is the best. Very cozy restaurant with a small playground for the little ones. Highly recommended!

Espaço muito agradável, extrema atenção e simpatia, refeição muito bem confecionada. Peca apenas pela pouca quantidade comparativamente com outros estabelecimentos da zona. É, sem dúvida, uma opção a considerar se está de passagem por Montemor

Chegámos tarde, depois de tentarmos jantar noutros restaurantes da zona.Aqui fomos MUITO BEM recebidos, o staff excelente o sr que nos recebeu 5 estrelas. A comida foi de topo. Que carne.A repetir seguramente.
