I was looking for a special place to take a friend who was visiting Bologna for 1 day only and I didn’t go wrong with choosing Guardastelle! Beautiful location, fantastic locally sourced and impeccable service. Strongly recommend.

What used to be a 5 star restaurant has become a 1.5 star experience. Christina the owner) used to be a star, now she is hiding away in the kitchen, if she is even present. We have been regular customers for 10+ years but today was a huge disappointment. We will not be coming back. What used to be a family run place has become a money machine based on all the 4 and 5 star ratings that she used to get. below average food expensive for what you get full of flie, even now as I wrote I am fighting with 3 flies! : Not recommended.

One of the best culinary experience I ever had. Service, food and atmosphere were excellent. I will strongly recommend a detour for this restaurant.

Birthday of my wife: very kind the owner at the time of booking also for the availability to look for a cake. good mixed meat appetizers and cheeses, delicious salad of artichokes and pudding; good tortelloni with artichokes, perhaps a little forced to combine strips with friggione, good cut with potatoes and tartare very well presented with egg and mayonnaise senapata. excellent mascarpone with chocolate and chocolate salami. perhaps the weakness of the farm are the sparkling wines and superior lazy and Cabernet Sauvignon of own production while delicious the precise and punctual waitress for the whole meal as well as the colleague very fast .
