Le Cafe du Centre - Montbrison-sur-Lez

Guillaume and Charlotte have been running the Cafe du Centre since 2013 and, over the years, have developed what was a mediocre place into a solid restaurant with a strong local following and equally pleasing to tourists and others passing through Montbrison. That is, with the exception of the Tour de France peloton who did not pay much attention when they raced by the restaurant last Wednesday! We had dinner ate the Cafe after the fun was over and were pleased to see the terrace full with happy diners, Things have not been easy for local restaurateurs during the lockdown. In fact, Guillaume worked as a chef in a local hospital when he had to close down the restaurant for 3 months.... Great to see the restaurant thriving again. Due to COVID 19 and social distancing, reservations are strongly encouraged. And well worth the effort dinner was great as usual.

As I stated in my previous review we planned my fathers 80th Birthday for around 25 people. The food was amazing, guillaume and his lovely wife and their brilliant, courteous staff members made it a fantastic day . The cafe is versatile and allows for those wanting some LIGHT exercise to go and play some rounds of pétanque. I cannot say how grateful we all were to EVERYONE at Cafe du Centre .... AMAZING ITS 10 STARS FROM US

A perfect little, simple Restaurant. Nice pizza, salat and dessert very friendly, english speaking service! Thumbs up!

Tres bon acceuil, service rapide, prix plus que correct! Des produits frais, de tres bonnes pizzas, de belle assietes, quoi dire de plus, j ai oublié les photos mais comme il y aura forcement une prochaine fois...!!!
