Bidrage med feedbackAfter this restaurant visits several times, this is really an excellent location to eat. eating is imaginative and very good, cooked to perfection. the location is simply amazing with panoramic view from the restaurant. the ambiente in the inner reminds of past times and is. a great place to dull. service is very professional and everything done with great care for the guests. overall, this is one of my favorite restaurants to visit.
About 20 years ago, when we first started vacationing in this area, we ate at Carpe Diem. We are wary of places away from big tourist towns where there are few locals attending. The specifics of two decades ago escape me, but we do recall...the place full of tourists/vacationers and not such good food or service. This year we returned for the first time in 2 decades for lunch. The only other patrons were three tourists. We had fusilli, tagliatelle, dolci, and a half of vino, all good, for a reasonable 39 euro. The back room, where we ate, has a great view if you're lucky enough to get a table by the window. The server, a young lady, was attentive. It may be another story in the evening at high season, but for lunch on a weekday in the off season it's worth a visit. Not much else in Montaione of this type restaurant except Pesce Rosso, which is closed for lunch on weekdays.
Delicious and well-kept dishes, great wine. the owner is very nice and the view from the restaurant is fantastic.
A very outdated restaurant that is not related to any end of dust collection, including a filling of plastic flowers of the species that their nan used to keep in their front space. in what was an unusual beginning, our waiter somehow brought us our main course before our starter and seemed to be rude when we pointed out. After completing our food we offered not to interfere with the starter, but he insisted that it was ready to come out before it delivered about 15 minutes later. unfortunately we had ordered a plate of hor d’oeuvres, which was for 2 people, although without cheese, and what was delivered were 2 teller for 4 people and covered with cheese. After we sent one back, but agreed to eat the other, giving us the impression that the mistakes were somehow our fault, our waiter's interest in us and a waitress finally took over the remaining tasks. Unfortunately, this was to show us a dessert menu for which it explains that the choices were the largest inaccurate or not available. After we did this, and after another delay, we were presented with the bill, but the original waiter (which I suspect was the owner) had added a 10% service fee. When we asked this and pointed out that we had hardly one service, he also carefully agreed to remove it. a real shame, as the main course was really very tasty, but with such a dirty service experience I could not recommend this restaurant.
We were a table of 10, and it was no problem for the staff at all, the food was great and the service spot on!
