Bidrage med feedbackHad reservation; seated promptly at outside table. Before meal served it poured down rain. Not to worry, the owner made room for us inside. I had shrimp pasta and my wife had the vegetarian lasagna; both very delicious and good portion. Definitely worth the price. Service was excellent.
A local shop owner recommended this restaurant to us & it exceeded our expectations. From the friendly host who greeted us at the door and squeezed us in (the restaurant was full) to our amazing waiter Maxim who was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and charming. We started with a gnocchi appetizer & mixed salad. Both were fantastic. (The salad greens we were told were from a local farm). The pasta is made fresh daily as are all the sauces. I had the linguine shrimp with curry & my boyfriend had ravioli with fois gras and spiny lobster tail. My dish was honestly one of the best I've ever had. For dessert we had frozen nougat which was lovely. We were introduced to the young chef who had cooked/plated 93 dishes that evening. So impressed! We ended up being the last diners to leave but didn't feel rushed at all. Highly recommend & will definitely come again on our next visit to St-Jovite.
Why eat at an overpriced, corporate-kitchen, mediocre restaurant in Tremblant? Drive 15 minutes and enjoy the fruits of passion in the kitchen. Fresh pasta made daily, paired with inventive sauces and meats. We started with steak tartare, better than most in Montreal. And the tomatoes "carpaccio", an inventive take on traditional Caprese salad. Our mains included their apparently-famous vegetable lasagna, duck confit with mushroom ravioli, and tagliatelle with a sauce made from pulled-beef-short ribs. All exquisite. Dessert was homemade nougat ice cream, that wasn't quite ice cream yet entirely refreshing, accompanied by peanut nougat, lychee pearls and a tart kumquat. Service was friendly and fast. We'll be back, and you should try it.
We ate lunch here in late July. All was real good - the three types of pasta we ordered, the salads and soups, and my outstanding glass of Spanish wine. And all at probably under half the price of equivalent food in Mont Tremblant Village, located a 10 minute drive away. The restaurant makes essentially all its food - fresh noodles made daily, fresh excellent soups, etc. This is a real good option in the area.
It is very that very special time of the year when we pack the car and head to St. Jovite for our summer vacation. The trip takes a better part of the day but the reward of lunch at Mille Pates, was well worth the drive. When your first love, well actually my second love, as I absolutely love love my husband but a close second, is that I am a food lover and have a passion of eating incredible food ! Thank you Mille Pates for exceeding my expectations.......the house salad .....to die for, so good we left with a container.....the pasta.....well to say it was finest we have ever eaten.....would be an understatement.....the care taken in not only the making of the lighter than air pasta and the incredible rose sauce.....made our day.It was not difficult to take pasta and sauce and parmesan home....Thank you for not only a memorable lunch, but also for the wonderful linguine and pesto that we had for dinner this evening.
