Great food, great service. One of the best burgers I have ever had.

We spent 2 hrs on a beautiful patio near the water. Our expectations were high. We had fish and chips, crack chicken and the smoke meat sandwich. The meats were very tasty but the fries and salad were terribly salty, like crazy salted. We mentioned it to the server as none of us came close to eating most of the fries. She said that she’d tell the kitchen of our complaint. Nothing came of it. With two beers, the meal came to $135, not worth going there. Sorry, Mont-Tremblant but this one is a dud.

Prepare to wait in line to get in as for it’s pretty much the only bar/club open after 11pm. Drinks are very expensive and there is a 10 dollar cover charge. After getting raked buying a couple drinks, and suffering irreversible hearing loss, two of us went out the wrong exit thinking it was a patio to get some air… Security guard would let one back in, but not the other who took 2 additional steps. Had to walk around to the entrance and wait to get back in… totally unjustifiable and ignorant. This place would benefit from a health and safety committee and some standard operating procedure adjustments… the security team could probably use some sensitivity training as well.

I have been here two days ago . It’s my first time to write a review for restaurant. First , the food was good, especially burger , my husband said to waitress, it’s the best burger ? he have never eaten. But after we paid bill , and rush back to the hotel in the rain,, then I realized there is something wrong on the bill . Because I fought out every burger’ price is higher than menu. The waitress asked us , would you like salad or fried?We had already ordered poutine, so we chose salad. And she didn’t say anything, it will be charged almost 6 each. three of them) we all think it’s the side coming with burger we don’t really like salad at all).The bill put burger and salad together, so I didn’t notice right way. And simple soda cost over 7, are you kidding me? We ate four of restaurants in the village, all of them charge around 3- 4 and main course always come with side small salad.Don’t mention about marketing please.I can’t believe I even gave the waitress over 18% of the tips. How can you guys treat customers like this? I am so disappointed.

Warning, warning! Do not fall for this tourist trap of a “restaurant” to bring your family to or even for a casual lunch or dinner. The prices are outrageous for what you get and the food is mediocre at best. We had a table for nine with four adults and five children for a casual dinner and ended up spending over 500 … and the food took FOREVER to come to the table when the restaurant was basically empty and there were staff swarming around everywhere. To put the cost in perspective we looked at the itemized receipt and saw they charged us over 50 for seven sodas, 60 for two orders of wings, which each contained 8 to 10 small wings. And over 16 for each kid’s meal, which did not even fill up our children (think a slider for a “burger”, two tiny chicken fingers, and one tortilla folded over for a quesadilla). We received no apology for how long the meal took, and no warning about how much certain things were costing us… Including the sour cream, I asked for for our burnt nachos (after having to hunt down a server) which ended up being an additional five dollar charge.This place is a true Mont tremblant rip off for a meal. Take your and family elsewhere… there are a few great restaurants off mountain where quality, service and food caliber way exceed that of the Caribou. Judging by the reviews après-ski is where it’s at for here but I know for one I will not be giving it a shot.Edited (based on reply from restaurant): Please note that the restaurant reply failed to speak about the service or the quality of food.... when i see the amount currently on the menu, yes, i expect good quality. I have no problems paying current market value where food quality and service live up to the price. (in fact we did that at several other restaurants during our holiday). Caribou failed to meet any expectations i would have for this price..
