Too bad that the terrace is quickly filled by the customers who come just for 1 glass and not by the guests who come to lunch. The staff is welcoming. We had the chance to have lunch in the sun with a beautiful view through the window, it helped us to have a good time.
Instead of taking the sandwiches we figured out why not enjoy this high-altitude restaurant? And it was a great discovery! A really friendly staff, who asks if we have a big appetite to adapt the quantities and avoid waste. Moreover everything is made home and it is really a delight!! The terrace allows you to enjoy a 360° view of the Sancy massif, what more?! In other words, go without hesitation.
Only down the cable car restaurant before going to the top of Sancy's puy. This could be expensive at first sight but the plates are well trimmed. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the view is just beautiful. This has a cost (such as every exit you want to enjoy) but what a memorable moment
