Rita's Italian Ice Frozen Custard

I felt uncomfortable being a white man in this establishment. The staff behind the counter were whispering, likely because I was the only non-Orthodox Jewish person there. I also noticed that other patrons were staring at me. Overall, it was an unsettling experience.

Rita's is a fantastic ice cream and ices destination in Monsey. They offer both cholov Yisroel and non-cholov Yisroel options, catering to all customers in the greater Rockland area. The staff is always friendly and patient, especially with kids as they take their time deciding what to order.

I went to Rita's with my sister and we had a fantastic time. The server was friendly and knowledgeable. We tried various frozen desserts, and each one was incredible. We will definitely be back!

The restaurant is understaffed. The young woman at the counter appeared overwhelmed by the number of customers and was snapping at her coworker, expressing that she needed assistance. While it was busy, it didn't seem excessively crowded, and she should have been able to manage her stress better.

The prices here are a bit higher than other Rita's locations, but the quality is outstanding! I love all the flavors available. However, the lack of a garbage can outside is a bit inconvenient.
