The decor is not typically German but there are plenty of other places offering that nearby, more like a small Greek taverna but it does make a change from most other places around. The menu offers all the usual traditional local dishes such a schnitzel, sausages, etc. more typical of how you would find them in larger German towns, more food, less fuss and very good value. Worth taking the time to speak with the manager who speaks excellent English (can even recognise regional dialects), spends time explaining different dishes, and even offered complementary glasses of ouzo afterwards. Not what we were expecting to find in this fairy-tale German town but really pleased we did, would recommend for any English speakers who want to get a taste for local food and worry about speaking the language, and the curry wurst is excellent!
It's a little restaurant, built in the living room of a normal house. It has a nice atmosphere. Food was simple, but good. Good price. I would come here again.
