Bidrage med feedbackI entered the market with my dad to browse around, and the store was quite empty. Another family was there grabbing cups of water, but they soon left. I approached the woman working at the bread counter to inquire about their wine selection. She responded bluntly, asking me "What do you want?" When I mentioned that I prefer sweeter white wines, she dismissively stated, "There is no such thing," before walking away. Despite this, I proceeded to browse the wine rack on my own. The woman returned to reiterate that sweet wines do not exist, insisting that any sweet wine is essentially soda and advising me to go to Walmart if I wanted something sweet. She continued to speak condescendingly about their wines and offered me only the cheapest options. It was a disappointing and rude experience, and I hope she was just having a bad day. My tip for the store would be to avoid being condescending to customers seeking recommendations, especially when the staff may not be knowledgeable about wine. sparkling wine is not Champagne unless it comes from the Champagne region of France, and grapes inherently contain sugar. The fermentation process determines whether a wine is sweet or dry, with different flavors like "buttery" or "earthy" being possible. Telling a customer that sweet wines do not exist and directing them towards cheaper options is both incorrect and patronizing. Additionally, assuming a customer's price range without their input is not good practice. The poor customer service I received has ensured that I will not be returning to this store.
We adore this restaurant! The drinks are always one-of-a-kind, expertly made and fantastic. The service is consistently excellent. The food is delightful. The scallops are my ultimate favorite dish.
The atmosphere at this restaurant is truly unique. Housed in a former bank, the eclectic decor will transport you back in time. The attention to detail is incredible. And let's not forget about the food - it is truly outstanding. I highly recommend trying the pork chop with cheese grits, kale, and roasted Shishido peppers - it's absolutely delicious.
Came last night and had the best experience! We had Britt who was so knowledgeable about the menu and the Roe’s history! So fun to look at the art and a lovely dining experience!
Would suggest reviewing menu/food items. Burger seems to always be over done and leaving more to be desired. Service is always excellent from the staff.
