I read a few reviews to decide 2 go 2 this plus. I had mixed feelings not seen stew chicken, or goat on the menu. Anyway, I am sad to say, but these bad reviews were right. food jad absolutely no taste...I knew when I opened it, saw the texture of tha rice, boneless chicken; what dry was dry was gonna upset Me....I hate donationin money, gettin full of bs. not authentic at all! I have eatin this kind of eating since a juvenile, this is not it. if I really store this, or leave witness when I am finished. look at the plate after the left....Not to mention, she was hustle....Waste of money! I was excited to have a Caribbean restaurant nearby and on my first visit saw a couple of customers who were of Caribbean descent which got my hopes even higher. Unfortunately the food and service didn’t live up to the initial impressions. My sons and I had jerk chicken platter and sandwiches. The chicken barely had any flavor and didn’t taste authentic Jamaican at all. I had ordered plantain on the side, the plantain pieces tasted like they had been warmed up in a microwave and they were barely warm by the time my meal was served.Other than the music didn’t find anything else Jamaican. Highly disappointed by the taste and service.

The jerk beef patties are TO DIE for!!! Cripsy and flavorful crust with the most succulent shredded beef inside. YUM! The husband wife duo are super nice. Sadly, they do seem short staffed as is everybody so be patient or order ahead.

Went for lunch at Simply Jerk Jamaican Grill on Tuesday afternoon. The food was quite good, but the service model is not helpful. Quality: Did not know what to expect when walking in, but I left very happy with my meal. I thought the Combo bowl had a ton of flavor. The jerk seasoning on both the chicken and shrimp was tasty, with just a little kick. The vegetables and plantains were good as well. I felt the rice was a bit mushy, but did not detract much from the meal. Quantity: A large bowl with a ton of chicken. Value: 17 for the Jerk Boneless Chicken Shrimp Combo. Ambiance: Simply Jerk Jamaican Grill is located in central New Jersey. It is at the end of an empty strip mall. They have four tables outside and then a few additional tables inside. Reggae music played over the speakers inside. The front area where you order was basically blocked off, with just a computer and no way to get someone's attention. Crowd: Two other people ordered while we were there. Service: Automation, the staff only emerge when the order is ready. Be sure to pay attention because if you are not there, they will disappear with your food. Parking: Large shared parking lot.

This is the best Caribbean place in Central Jersey. The service is like no other in this cuisine and the food is tasty and fresh, always. A good spot to try.
