Geno's Italian - Monroe

I'm not local to this area at all. I just happened across this little gem and let me tell you, it is absolutely delicious, I haven't had sauce like that since I was a kid. I'm not typically a huge fan of Italian sausage, but this place nails it! Wonderful, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, great for dining alone or on a date night. Great prices. They do seem to fill up, but you can call ahead and make reservations from what I saw. I would definitely recommend doing that if you have a larger party so they can prep for your arrival. Most tables seat either 2 or 4 from what I saw. They have outside seating which unfortunately was too hot to use while I was there, but I did get a look, and it's just as adorable as the inside. There's plenty of parking but it is kind of odd, I got there pretty soon after they opened and it was about half full out front. Not sure if there's parking in back but there is a parking area you could use right at the corner.

Amazing food..but menu still has a lot of items not available. Sausage made there was amazing ?

The food was outstanding, the atmosphere and hospitality was excellent.

??the atmosphere screams sit a spell . The server was so friendly and kind, eager to please this newcomer.. she suggested their house specialty, Their homemade lasagna. Homemade pasta, the Italian sausage, the pasta sauce, all homemade. The bread.. I wasnt prepared for the size of the serving either. Considering every Italian-wannabe chain has small portions and large price tags. It was delicious! Ive eaten at many Mom n Pop Italian restaurants, but I dont think any others made their own sausage. Kudos to Geno 's! I will be back!

Went in sat down no one came out sat 15 mins on my lunch break no one ever came out heard a lot of talking coming from the back finally left can’t say if food is good or
