Ihop - Moncton

My wife and I are not fussy or hard to please but we didn?t particularly like it here. The spinach and mushroom omelette dish was ?sloppy?, presentation wise, nothing like the picture example. The ?fresh avocado? that was extra on the menu had some brown edges and were really thin. It did not appear busy and we waited about 35-45 mins for our meal. They said they were waiting on the steak and eggs but when it arrived, the steak wasn?t charred or seared. Just light brown like it was cooked on med heat or something. Pancakes were too soggy in the middle for my daughter to eat. Altogether the food was good flavour, a bit expensive and nothing really seemed fresh or impressive and we could easily make it at home. I guess for an IHOP first experience we had high expectations since the first time we tried to go here in the past it was too busy and were told it would be an hour wait to be seated, so we left. The staff were nice and the manager came around each table which was good so we give it a 2 star rating. We may be back but we won?t be getting the same dishes.

Very good service and the restaurant was very clean. COVID protocols followed. A bit of a wait to get in and get food due to back ups in the kitchen, though I can't fault them for worker shortages that everyone is experiencing. I had the spicy poblano omelette which wasn't spicy at all, so I added hot sauce. The shredded beef was extremely tender. Of course the pancakes were delicious. I love the butter pecan syrup, but my wife did not. She had chicken and pancakes, and the chicken tenders were absolutely delicious. She really enjoyed her cupcake pancakes (I got a toothache just from looking at them). A little pricey, but I would go back.

Although not the same as my American experience with IHOP, we had a good visit. The food came our fast, our servers were upbeat and friendly and they checked on us multiple times. They made sure or drinks were full and they even replaced my mothers meal with something different at no extra charge because she wasn't happy with what she got. Great place for family dining.

Kids were over the moon!!!! ???? Pancakes milkshake! What more to add? How about some delicious crispy bacon eggs!? It was Christmas in July for our family super delicious and exciting! P.S. be prepared to open up your wallet! ????

The food was excellent. Best hashbrowns I have ever had. We will be going back to try some more things on the menu for sure!
