Bidrage med feedbackMy friends and I were very excited to visit iHop for the first on our way through Moncton but had to leave after walking in and sitting down for over 25 minutes before a single drink order was taken!!!! It was not the servers fault the waitress looked very stressed as it was only her taking customer orders and the worst part was is the place was almost empty and us just being a party of 3.This is clearly a problem with management. Just awful service and I definitely will not be returning anytime soon.
Terrible service, I asked to order takeout at the counter and the supervisor told me to wait one moment and that our order would be taken soon. She proceeded to seat and assist other customers that came after us for the next 10 minutes while we stood around waiting. Once someone began to take our order, she was incredibly slow. In the middle of taking our order, she went to the back for a few minutes. So we ended up walking out. Won’t be going back to an IHOP again.
Shockingly slow service. It took 25 minutes to order food and drinks after sitting down. As of writing this review, it's been an hour and 5 minutes since then and still we haven't gotten anything. The place seems to be at about half capacity. We will not be back.
Quick stop here as we drive back to Ottawa from PEI. One of our kids has been obsessed with trying IHOP so we took the opportunity.We walked in and were greeted by a young man who said he had to check if there was space for us. A quick glance around the restaurant showed at least half a, dozen available 4 seaters. We were shown to a table and greeted promptly by a kind server.When our oldest ordered the avocado toast we found they were out of avocado. After a five minute scouring of the menu she decided on the Buffalo chicken sandwich and then found out they were also out of chicken strips.The oldest, frustrated decided to just not eat.Our orders took about 30 minutes and was plunked on the table and the server scurried off before I could ask about a missing item. I tried for 5-10 minutes to catch her eye while she was on the floor but she didn't glance around at all so I gave up.Food was as expected. When the server finally came back at the end of the meal I asked her about the missing item and she casually stated its cause they were also out of that.Clearly there is an issue with ordering that isn't the servers fault and falls to management. But the servers should be briefed on anything missing prior to their shift and trained to dialogue with the guests about that when they come in.The abundance of staff (three hosts at 2pm!! appeared hardworking and kind but lacked training. My assumption is this location has a management issue.
The app it seems runs 7 to 10 min behind in notifying us... 2nd trip and both days our app notify was late arriving... we got seated but an extra 10 min waitingFood was awesome!!!Staff are excellent but short staffed.
