Rifugio Salvin - Monastero di lanzo

The Italian food and family culture are what bring us back to Italy time and time again. At Rifugio Salvin Beppe and Susie (plus kids and dog) deliver this in spades. Whether milking the goats, making cheese, climbing the mountains, eating the endless supplies of food or just looking down on Turin (late night by the bonfire best), this really is a proper getaway that your children will remember. We love this place so much that we even got married there.

The drive to get there can be a bit bumpy so don't go of you have a sport car. But this little agriturismo at 1580 meters is an amazing gem! Views are breathtaking (and even the drive there is incredible to experience) with amazing mountain views. The food is also incredible; they offer a unique menu for 25€ of food that is local; genuine and in most cases produced by themselves! The portions are very abundant and you can even ask for second rounds! I would definitely recommend it as a nice romantic getaway!

Ci siamo recati con amici do.e ica scorsa, abbiamo lasciato l'auto a km dal rifugio. La giornata era stupenda , paesaggio mozzafiato.Siamo arrivati all agriturismo e abbiamo pranzato vicino al caminetto, tutto super , qualità e quantità, ottimi antipasti. Penta concia ottimo.a e spezzatino di co ghiaie che chiedeva il bis, per finire formaggi misti e poi una super torta mele e gianduia...... caffè grappa e genepy, veramente tutto super.Ben spesi i , da ritornare , consigliatissimo.

Accoglienza eccellente come in famiglia, servizio impeccabile personale gentilissimo…noi con bambine ci siamo sentiti veramente come a casa…sicuramente ci torneremo!!
