Bidrage med feedbackI stumbled upon this restaurant in Chadstone and decided to give it a try. Overall, I had a good experience at the sushi train. The food was tasty (definitely try the black sesame ice cream for dessert), but there wasn't as much variety as sushi trains in Japan. Unfortunately, the hot dishes tended to get cold quickly as they circulated around the train. The seating area was a bit cramped and the prices were on the higher side. Despite these shortcomings, my Japanese friend enjoyed her first sushi train experience in Australia.
Comfortable place for a sushi train. It can get very busy on a Fri dinner session or throughout the weekend.Flavours are there with the sushi's and sashimi's, however it is one of the pricier Sushi trains going around. $4.50 per standard plate and $8 for the premiums, which in my opinion (comparing to other places I have been) is quite dear especially with the portion sizes. In saying that, I would return due to the flavours.
We had lunch there, seated beside the sushi train. A bit tight in the seating. Next time we shall get a table. Good selection of sushi. Great presentation. A bit pricy, but that is expected at this eating area at Chadstone. We had a great time.
This is one of the best sushi train I've had ~ fresh and different varieties at a very reasonable price. Top of my list is the hot oyster followed by black salmon & avocado, red salmon, scallops to name a few. Even enjoyed the freshly prepared agedashi tofu which was delish. Ate so much I didn't have space for desserts so will definitely return! Worth the ride from CBD.
Stumbled upon this eatery after leaving Legoland Discovery Centre at Chadstone. This Japanese Sushi Train & Sake Bar is located 1 floor below. You have a choice of sitting at the sushi train counter or at the dining tables. We chose the latter & the waitress came to take our order. For dishes from the sushi train, if you are seated at the dining tables, you can go up to the sushi train counter & pick the choices yourself. The sushi train though is limited in variety. We found the food very fresh & elegantly presented. The udon soup was very delicious. Nice place for lunch, even if slightly pricey.
