Kiosko - Monachil

It was the only place open at 3.00pm after a hike so had to go there. However I would strongly recommend this little cafe, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The service was superb, very friendly and helpful.

First restaurant went to and ordered many plates of tapas. Fried calamares, sardines, bacalla, tortilla, gamba's, patatas bravas. Everything was excellent quality, tasty and the service was quick. Very good value for money.

The Kiosko doesn't look much from the outside but the charcoal grilled fish and meat is excellent, we drank a very good Ribero del Duero by the generous glass and la cuenta won't break the bank. No fancy decor, but for friendly service at racing speed and a good look at Spanish family life when they dine out in the evening, you'd be hard pressed to do a lot better! Recommended.
