Don't come to this place! Very bad food. Dishes were poor, like the seafood pasta with close to none seafood

Well, I'm glad not to have read the reviews before visiting. We sat harbor side overlooking beautiful Portofino Harbour. The food itself was surprising 5 star....highly recommend the grilled octopus. It was perfectly done and I swear it must have been swimming that am! The only negative was that they do the standard Italian tourist trap trick of adding a 15% house table charge (NOT A TIP) without disclosing it on the menu. Then the waiter makes it clear that there is no tip for him on the bill and hovers to see what he gets...so 5 star food with 1 star for the poor ethics....average 3. That said, I would go again now that I know what to expect (price wise). They would be better off raising the prices 15% and not joining the huckster crowd....the food is worth it.

My family of 4 had dinner here this evening and it was the worst dinner I have eaten. I asked for grilled calamari and got soggy deep fried and crumbed calamari. The mixed grilled platter which my husband and I shared was totally bland and no flavor . The pizza my children had were soggy and undercooked . The bill was over 300Euro which I am very happy to pay this price for a well prepared and flavorful meal. Don't make the same mistake we did avoid this establishment!
