Applebee's Grill - Moline

The food was excellent. There were plenty of staff, but the service was a bit slow. Our waitress did her best, and I believe she was the most knowledgeable among the team.

The wait time for being seated was frustrating, but it appeared that there were plenty of servers around, unless they were not assigned to that task. The appetizers arrived hot and fresh, just like the main dishes, all within 30 minutes. The service was outstanding, and our waitress was very friendly!

I always enjoy visiting Applebee's; the family atmosphere is genuine, and the food is consistently delicious!

This Applebee's has been on the decline in the last 3 or 4 years. The service is lacking, which may be due to the staff getting younger and lacking a sense of pride in their work. Our waitress was quite disappointing and seemed indifferent to our needs. There is a waitress named Tara who has been there for a long time, and I wish we could have been seated in her section because she is truly exceptional. She is definitely the shining star of that place!

My son ordered a steak meal, while my mother and I had chicken and shrimp. To our dismay, my son's steak was not even warm! When the waitress finally brought out our chicken, one of the plates had potatoes on the bottom that fell onto the floor and smashed all over the table. Frustrated, I asked to speak with a manager. Arthur, the manager, came to our table but was very unprofessional and defensive. He offered to comp our meal, but then hastily told us we could leave as he raised his voice. Anyone would be upset after waiting 20 minutes for just one appetizer while others were served long before us. The lack of training and professionalism from the staff was evident. I cannot recommend this location at all. Arthur needs to improve customer service training or consider stepping down.
