The Black Horse - Mole Valley

I went to this restaurant for lunch after having the afternoon off work. It was my first time visiting since it had changed ownership. The service and food were both excellent. We ordered a variety of starters, including prawns, battered fish, breaded courgettes, and truffle fries, all of which were delicious and freshly cooked. The chef, Rocky, came out to speak to the customers for feedback, which was a nice gesture. He was very friendly and open to feedback. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

My family and I stopped by for lunch at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly. My wife had the ribs and I had the tikka wrap, both of which were amazing. The chef even came out to ensure everything was to our liking. We will definitely be returning for a curry.

I went to this restaurant for an early dinner with friends and we had a great time. The staff was very friendly and our meals were delicious. The restaurant offers both English and Indian menu options with a wide variety of choices. I particularly enjoyed the vegetarian dishes, especially the curries. The relaxed atmosphere made us stay for most of the evening. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

Just eaten and had a few drinks here. The food is amazing- we had the Shepherds pie, chicken pie and beef and ale pie and it was all utterly fantastic. The veg and potatoes were also cooked to perfection. Gutted we didn’t have 3 courses so we could enjoy more! The staff are so welcoming and if we are back this way we would 100% be straight in here.
