My wife and I both ordered steaks, with her choosing bearnaise sauce and me opting for pepper sauce. The 300g steaks were cooked perfectly, and the sauces were delicious. Our lovely host Nathalie served us with charm and attentiveness. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and nostalgic, with a touch of minimalism that would appeal to those who appreciate simplicity. The restaurant used to be known as a herring house, and there are still many herring dishes on the menu. We paid a total of 60 EUR for two steaks with sauces, a beer, two Westmalles, and two coffees, which we found to be a fair price for a satisfying meal. We recommend trying this restaurant next time you're in the area.
We waited 2 hours for our dessert because the restaurant was busy with other orders. The dessert was creme brulee and a vanilla ice cream sundae. We were disappointed by the long wait and lack of communication from the boss when we raised the issue. We will not be returning to this restaurant.
Amazing food at the Polder House, a true gem. The terrace is lovely, the staff is friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious and made with quality ingredients. Well worth the price. Kudos to the chef! We will definitely be returning.
A cook of sperm has a reputation to keep. And that's what filip does with boredom. First quality products, in a sophisticated way prepared. We both took a steak, my wife with bear sauce, me with pepper sauce. The kitchen of the flesh was perfect and also the sauce. All served by the intaking charming hostess wethalie. Take off your hat for this couple! The frame was our thing, too. The inside is cozy with a little nostalgia without obedience. People who love minimalism starve here clearly. And oh yes, the restaurant was known as a paling house in the past. And multiple pale achievements are still a large part of the map. Try next time. We paid everything together 60 pounds for two steaks with sauce, a pint, two westmalles and two coffees. A fair price for a delicious meal!
The dessert's been waiting for them for two hours, because people are waiting for their main dish and they went for it. The dessert was creme brulee and a coupe vanilla? Can't this go in between? When we went to report it, the boss said nothing, no excuses or nothing. They'll never see us here again.
