Bidrage med feedbackHad a very nice meal here in the weekend. Although it was extremely busy with rugby world cup fans the experience was still enjoyable. Very high standard of food I had the blue cod pie which is apparently new to the menu this came with fries and salad and I thought it was very reasonable. Friendly staff. I finished with a very good latte, overlooking the Boulders. The gift shop is worth a look too. Will be sure to return again.
We often stop here on our way to north. We always have the Fresh Moeraki Blue Cod and the Seafood Chowder, both awesome!. Nice atmosphere on a sunny day to sit out on the deck and look down towards to the Boulders, or on winters days in front of the open fire. Friendly service.
Good snack food, great whitebait patty and cheese roll. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great location and well worth a visit before or after seeing the Boulders. Bonus were the Dolphins playing right out front in the shallows.
Can't complain about this lovely cafe with great views! I really enjoyed my hot soup on a cold day. We will be back
Stopped by here for lunch and was left feeling full and satisfied. We ordered a pumpkin soup, single fish fillet with chips, fish burger, and a squid rings kids meal. The prices seemed too much at first but the quantity of the dishes were worth it.<br/ <br/ Their fish was fresh and the batter was crunchy and importantly didn't turn out too thick or oily as it often does with fish and chips. I thought the burger was very well made, with several ingredients whose flavours melded together in your mouth. There was a lot of sauce which made everything creamy.<br/ <br/ Squid rings were nicely crumbed and deep fried not overdone so that it was hard but it was still crispy. There were only 4 and the rest were chips, so it could've done with a couple more with less chips.<br/ <br/ The pumpkin soup was your average pumpkin soup, but hearty and comforting all the same.
