Bidrage med feedbackI had the tasting menu and it was fantastic! I added cream sauce on the Tortellini in Parmigiano Reggiano, and got a 5 wine pairing for €30. The meal was long, about 3 hours, so if you are in a hurry, you can be better suited to ask all dishes at once. Service was friendly, attentive and spoke neat English. I tried the many ages of Parmigiano Reggiano, the 5 pieces of 30-120 month (that is 10 years! Age Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and I would only experience one for the table as a novelty, as all over 36 months by themselves very chalky and dry, in my opinion. If it is very aged and put in other dishes I am sure it is good, but just eaten, I could only have one bite or two of each to experience the flavors and difference. The “hamburger” is amazing, but it is more a slide in shape and size, extremely juicy because of the traditional fashionna sausage and Parmigiano Reggiano mixed. A very tasty place with which you can experience some of Massimo Bottura cooking at a fraction of the cost!
Great experience. We chose the more modern menu of Modena. The wine pairing is available in a bright version with 4 glasses or full version with 7 glasses. Eating was well prepared with some surprising ingredients and flavors. Especially the first dish falls into this category (endive marinated in a roasted squid extract, squid liver, mussel and estragons sauce).
Fantastic restaurant! Loved how great the food was and how it felt in a deeper but very stylish environment. What made our experience so much better was the amazing team that treated us so friendly. We had both the tasting menu and the a la carte options, everything was absolutely delicious, especially the Emilia Burger appetizer and the Tortellini del Tortellante first course! Very suggest a reservation.
We tried both tasting menus and they are both great. Overall the I love modena menu wins, but the Tortellini alla parmesan was the best dish. Worth a visit to Modena.
Great service, innovative cuisine, and wonderful wine pairings. We both got the tasting menu (five courses for the mister, seven for me, the glutton : and was well worth it. The seven course tasting was a bit more adventurous (smoke eel risotto is delish who knew? , but the five course menu also offered plenty of delights. Splurge on the wine pairing and make it a night to remember.
