Modbury Plaza Hotel

We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of this pub meal. Both enjoyed a 300gm scotch fillet, cooked medium well. They were tasty, moist, and tender. The chips were crunchy and there was a reasonable selection of salad and vegetables included in the price. Unfortunately, the dining area is very drab and looks like a cafeteria in a nursing home

We have been going to the hotels for many years and received great service, friendly staff but the menu hasn't altered for a long time. It needs to be livened up. We appreciate the seniors discount.

A girl's night out. 11 of us enjoyed a wonderful meal at the Modbury Hotel. We had not been there for some time but were surprised at the prices, the service and the food was exellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we were surprised at the prices of the food and the wine. Will make every attempt to return

Had a fantastic night on Saturday only disappointment was the service we received in the private function area. The young lass and the older woman (the manager I presume) went above and beyond for us but the same can’t be said about the barman. Every time we went to the bar for a drink all we could hear was him whinging and complaining about how sick he was and how he didn’t want to be there. It’s a great venue with great food and a great atmosphere but unfortunately marred by this one staff member.

The Food here is very good the staff are polite and friendly the atmosphere is good and the food is reasonably priced
