This place has the best grits I’ve ever had in my life and great servers!! Food is phenomenal for the price!!

Excellent food! Desserts to die for! Friendly wait staff. Enjoyed the history displayed on the wall because most of the infor is about my kin folks!

We decided to take a Sunday drive and see if we could find this restaurant, and we did! We stopped for dinner and had a fantastic time. The staff were incredibly friendly and the service was excellent. I had the best country ham I've ever tasted in North Carolina. Coming from Virginia, where we have some of the best ham in the world, I’ve never had such good country ham in North Carolina until today. The restaurant was impressively clean, especially given the large crowd it served on Sunday. Today’s special was pot roast, and it was delicious! We will definitely be returning to this crossroads. Battle Branch Cafe offers some of the finest fresh home-cooked meals, including entrees, vegetables, and desserts. Very little, if anything, is sourced from a can, and there are plenty of healthy options available. You can't beat the prices, along with the warm hospitality from the friendly waitresses and the owner. If you arrive late, it's possible they might run out of the specials for the evening, so it's advisable to come early to snag one of the featured dishes. However, there is still a wide variety of other delicious meals to choose from. This cafe definitely earns my vote for having some of the best comforting, grandma-style cooking around.
