Bidrage med feedbackI've been here for 7.5 years. It is the best location in Luperon, and has very good food, friendly people, and any conceivable drink. I have a very close relationship with the owner and know their sincere commitment to their guests and employees. She's always looking for ways to improve Casa Del Sol. If you are in Luperon, this is where you need to stay and enjoy tasting their wonderful food. Maybe you can see me there.
Nice 5 rooms very cheap hotel. Quiet area with safe parking. Near the beaches. The staff is very nice and welcoming. Also a very nice restaurant with lots of seafood at great prices. Hot and cold water. Large room with AC and large ceiling fan. The bed is great with many pillows. Good cable TV and free Wi-Fi. The city is also very beautiful and the beaches are spectacular. Great escape!
Warm, clean, everything works well, nice staff. It is about 7 minutes from Luperon beach by bike. And 1-2 minutes from the city. I made a good choice to stay here. Restaurant/bar on site and delicious food.
I have stayed here before, years ago. Small, intimate and clean. Good location and good food. Resident Chef on staff. Very Great price. Excellent English speaking staff. Great experience. Nice inside, intimate bar, and comfortable restaurant. See attached.
This review is only for the restaurant. We ate here at 11am on a Tuesday in February 2020. The tortillas (omelets , 150 RD$, were decent, though the eggs in the vegetable omelet were not cooked all the way through. They came with home-fry-like potatoes which were ok. The panqueques (pancakes , 150 RD$, were also not uniformly cooked through. They came with a choice of (a “miel” (honey or (b eggs and bacon, which struck us as a strange choice. We opted for miel, thinking that if it were somehow equivalent to eggs and bacon it might be real honey. Alas, it was fake maple syrup. Points, though, for pleasant atmosphere and nice waitstaff. I am told that the wooden chairs are not comfortable, and am glad we sat in the plastic resin chairs. We returned for dinner that night and got takeout mero fish in salsa “bretona” which was garlicky with onions and peppers (250 RD$ . It was delicious, as were the mashed potatoes (80 . We also got broccoli and carrots (approx 80 RD$ , which were decent. The mashed potatoes were delicious. We returned yet again for breakfast the following morning. The eggs in the vegetable tortilla were undercooked again, but the pancakes were cooked through.
