Soul Heaven Cafe Catering - Mobile

First of all, let me say this building is old. It can be hard to keep something like that clean. That’s my biggest concern with this restaurant, added to that it tends to be very hot in the warmer month. Chairs and tables are dirty. Now let’s move on to the positive. The food was amazing. Chopped steak, vegetable medley and country fried steak were a few of the items on our table. All that and the sides were very good, fresh and hot. Great home/southern/soul cooking, whatever you want to call it. Good service, friendly people. Affordably priced lunch specials.

Wanted to support our local restaurant, so we stopped in during their posted hours. Workers inside, doors locked. You can see by the picture of the hours and the clock behind that we were there during business hours. ?‍ We went to Texas Roadhouse instead.

Food was on point! Stopped in due to curiosity. I'm glad I did! It's been a long while since i had amy good soul food, and this blew me away! I had The Chef Ms. Lillie, fix my plate for me, and she absolutely knows what she's doing. 2 sides, 1 entree, a drink, and a desert put me at about $20 plus tip, and it was most definitely worth it. They also offer catering, which is good to know! I highly recommend this place if you're out west mobile.Note: They recently moved from their Moffet location, so if you've been a customer, come on out this way!

Definitely wouldn’t recommend unsanitary atmosphere Long wait, horrible customer

I had the oxtails and while they were flavorful they were a bit pricey and the portions didn't match the price...I get it that prices have gone up but I felt I should have gotten more for the price...The customer service was good though.
