Flourgirls Bakery - Mobile

We were so pleased with the cake we received from FlourGirls Bakery. The price was also surprisingly good for the amazing quality. A+ We wanted something beautiful and delicious for our parents 50th anniversary...it was in fact BOTH beautiful and delicious! My husband, sister-in-law and myself especially enjoyed trying out all the cupcakes throughout the month to pick out our favorite flavors for the cake. There were so many good ones but in the end we settled on asimple chocolate for the top layer, wedding cake for the bottom layer all topped with a cream cheese icing. It was so good. Not dry at all! We did not have leftovers even though we ordered way more cake then we needed. I?ve never seen acake eaten so fast with so many big smiles. The detail work on the cake itself was very well done and everybody commented on how nice it was. The customer service was great just make sure you order your cake with plenty of notice becausethey do get booked up. The only thing I might suggest they do differently is to let the customer pick the color plate the cake itself is going to be placed on. I say this because it was a ?50th golden anniversary? with lots of gold touchesin our decor and the base plate they used was silver. Nothing we couldn?t work around but if the option to choose between white, silver or gold was there upon ordering that would have made things even nicer. Overall, I highly recommendFlourGirls Bakery and I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I Ordered a cake from here for my Nephew's birthday. I was pleased when I picked it up. It was beautiful. The disappointment came when we cut it. The icing tasted salty and the middle of the cake was half icing, half cake. I tried to contact them with pictures.... got no response from them. Not even an apology... will never buy from here again.

Well coming from Houston it?s very diverse so when we took my daughters request for a Gudetama cake I could understand them not knowing what it was, they actually did a great job with drawing it out for such a short notice. I?ll give them two stars for that! My biggest issue was about the cake .. for $60 not only was it pretty plain but the cake itself was dry, almost cornbread texture covered by a mound of icing. Definitely disappointed .. and not worth it.

I ordered a cake for my mother and father?s 50th anniversary and everything was amazing! The service was awesome, and the cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious too! The lady that helped us was patient, and gave us a lot of options to help us get what we wanted and still stay within our budget. I would absolutely buy from them again and recommend them to everyone. I?m adding a photo but it doesn?t do it justice- the colors were more vibrant and it was even more gorgeousin person! It also had a beautiful shimmer to it.

They have service me with my bday cakes for about three years and this year?s cake was just unacceptable. I will not be back next year to order . My bday cake taste like sweet cornbread. It was dry and the icing did not taste like the previous cakes I ordered through the years . The presentation of the cake was nice but the taste lost me as a customer .I try to support local business but the lack of consistency is annoying .
