Moama Sports Club

During my four-day stay in Echuca, I chose to have dinner at Moama RSL. As soon as you arrive in the carpark, you are welcomed by a large tank.

Whenever I am traveling in the Echuca/Moama region, I always make sure to have dinner at the Moama RSL.

We were able to save $41 off the original price by purchasing a family membership. The restaurant offers great meal deals and has friendly service. Although there was a bit of a wait for our meals, the quality of the food on the bistro menu was impressive even on a busy night. The dining room was nicely furnished and had a view overlooking a footy training session.

We ate here on a Saturday night with family (2 adults and 2 young kids) it was fairly busy when we arrived at 6pm. Once was signed into the place with out ID we went upstairs to find a table. We where told to just find one ourselves wherever we wanted to sit and just order at the counter when we where ready. The only problem was that every free table in the place had a reserved note on it, once we found d a free table we sat down but where quickly told we had to move by a staff member as we where in the gaming area and kids where not aloud. We told the staff member of the problem that all tables where already reserved but she quickly found as a spot and just removed the reservation note. After having a quick look at the menu I decided on the fisherman's plate, my wife decided on the lasagne and my kids wanted spaghetti bolognese. I ordered at the counter, then got some drinks at the bar in less than 5 min the kids meals where of. The table which is great when trying to keep them entertained. I did notice an area for older kids with half a dozen TV's with playstation and Xboxs connected up. It was only a few more minutes till our meals arrived, my wife really enjoyed the lasagne served with chips and salad. The seafood plate was good overall, the crumbed scallops where not the greatest but the fish and prawns made up for this. Overall it was a good night with fast and friendly service.

Lovely food, good value deals for seniors. Pleasant staff, clean amenities. Dine inside or outside, pokies available.
