Live down the road and have been wanting to try this place. The interior is simple, I like the subtle nod to its former purpose auto shop? Seems like it may be a nice space to hangout, like most coffee shops… Only giving them 3 stars for the following reasons: Parking? What parking. The barista was lacking… friendliness? Great staff and many options for vegetarian/vegan AND gluten free It's extremely hard to find anything worthwhile that's gluten free. The coffee is fresh and made on the spot. Atmosphere was great, very relaxing

Good coffee in a refurbished old car repair garage, aka the brake shop. Love the decor staying true to the original building use. Good amount of tables to spread out. Fast and friendly service. Only about 4 blocks north of the Katy Trail on the outskirts of historic Frenchtown. Small parking lot but lots of street parking.

There are many fine coffee shops in Saint Charles. My frequent choice is Upshot. I often go for one of their batch brew coffees. As a treat I order a pour over off of their menu of exceptional coffees. Sitting on their patio enjoying a pour over is one of life’s simple pleasures that brings me much joy. Along with great coffee is the outstanding staff. It’s the staff that turns a good coffee shop into an excellent coffee shop.
