The Reef - Missouri

My wife and I ate here last night, just for a date night. I'd seen the old boat sign off I-29 and wanted to try it for awhile, since before covid, but just never did. Everything was awesome! We didn't know we needed a reservation until we called when we were 5 minutes away. The reservation time was for 15 minutes after we called. When we got there, we were seated right away. I came with a group of friends to have a nice dinner for the holidays. We had a reservation well in advance and even called because we were unfortunately running late, and were easily and kindly able to push our reservation back. Was there and we did not get any service so we just left! And hardly any people there! There's no excuse for not serving you!

We discovered The Reef this weekend, and were overall beyond satisfied! We received a warm-welcome by the staff. The atmosphere is unique, comfortable and warm. The waitresses and waiter were exceptional and really show a high level of teamwork. Our waitress in particular was attentive. The food was delicious- between the onion rings, salmon and filet and sides — outstanding flavor and cooked to perfection. Went to The Reef this evening and everything was amazing, start to finish. Excellent service. My husband had oysters and they were great. Our salads were good. My only negative would've been for the salads to have a little more toppings. My husband had the trout and said it was excellent. I had the Hawaiian Ribeye, and added some blue cheese, and it was amazing. Also had a side dish of sautéed mushrooms, spinach, onion, dijon, and brandy sauce. It was so good.
