The first time I came I had a bad experience with the barista, but the second time I was treated very kindly. The staff were welcoming and they handed me my beverage at the counter where I was sitting. The first time, I was sitting at the counter and there was no one in line so i asked her if she could hand me my drink and she told me it would be 5 dollars then stormed over with it causing it to spill and said next time to go get it myself. Nice hot chocolate, the person serving was the rudest person i have encountered. She did not want to be there or talk to anyone!

Messenger is some of the best coffee in the city, though this location isn't as cozy as the one on Grand.

Best coffee on the plaza, it's a little pricey, but let's support local businesses vs chains. Friendly accommodating staff.
