The wait staff fully and kindly explained the ordering procedure which is different from my dining experience. The food was lovely. Desserts absolutely divine! I'll definitely return!
Andre’s is a Kansas City treasure!! Love the chocolate covered almonds, chocolate Santa’s for Christmas gifts and chocolate bunnies for Easter baskets. Lunch is a special experience.
Here's my best estimation of this place — the people that LOVE it are either there to say they “ate at Andre's”, have a nostalgic connection to it, or are fans of simple, bland food. The lunch crowd is 90% old ladies. At $20/person, the lunch is an extremely “meh” execution on some admittedly good ideas for “Swiss” classics. Portions are tiny. The quiche is fine, the salad dressing the put on 90% of the sides is a simple mayo/vinegar dressing that has potential, but is mostly bland. Greens/veg … – show
Andres is a must! I had the brisket strata for breakfast. I thought to myself, “brisket doesn't sound like a breakfast food, but what the heck.” do yourself a favor and order it! Everything was affordable, and delicious. I will go here every time I'm in KC.
