Bidrage med feedbackTheir website isn't updated and doesn't list their vegetarian vegan options, so I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that the menu in the restaurant includes a vegetarian page with most of the options vegan! Options include vegetable fried rice, sweet and sour tofu (this one's the BEST! , teriyaki tofu, and some others... there is also ALWAYS one vegan dessert, which rotates, but is often a berry crisp with vegan vanilla ice cream. I was really impressed with the Mustard Seed, and that sweet and sour tofu is something that I'd crave! The staff were really knowledgable about what was vegan and eager to please, and actually, the first time I went, the server was vegan too!
Yesterday evening to The Mustard Seed after having not been there since they have been rebuilt and after reading the reviews on this page. I remembered that she had several labeled vegan main dishes and the reviews here seemed to confirm. This visit was a completely different experience. I was initially excited to see that V vegan was on their list of symbols, but then disappointed to see that only 2 menu points, both appetizers, were marked with a V. On the top the waitress was good and she described a few options that the kitchen had available (not in the menu) to me a meal and what she prepared (a vegan version of her taco with tofu). It is nothing special, but tasty enough and a good amount of food. The other option was a stirrer of vegetables that could make them with one of a few vegan sauces. I didn't try to comment that way. There was no vegan dessert option.
I have the vegetable fried noodles and it was solid, the sauce is really good. The noodles are good

I was really impressed by the Senf Seed, and this sweet and sour tofu is something I would long! We were very pleased with the craft and care of the food here. Both tofu dishes we had were light and cooked perfectly. The vegan fruit crisp was delicious. Everything presented with care, beautifully. The only “con” was I wish that cooked vegetables came with the tofu dishes, I was glad I had a salad, the slaw was delicious but small.
