Good Food Store - Missoula

Great store, best place in town for fresh vegetables and meat. Great selection for vegetarians and vegans.

I frequently dine and shop at Good Food. They maintain high standards for all of their products and make efforts to reduce waste whenever possible.

The restaurant offers excellent quality ingredients, has a welcoming staff, and provides good perks for their employees. It's hard to find a reason not to love it.

I enjoy the variety of options available in the bulk section, the selection of fresh vegetables, and the delicious hot pizza at this restaurant. I also occasionally indulge in the salad bar. However, prices can be a bit high here, but that seems to be their standard. The fresh ground peanut butter is especially delicious, but be cautious not to overfill the container as the machine continues to dispense after releasing the grind button!

I think its the best produce store in town. Always check berry section as they get in wonderful seasonal things. Best selection of local products. Widest vegan/vegetarian options. Beer and wine selection is good. I like to purchase cheese as they definitely carry the widest selection. Occasionally flathead lake cheese. I love that they carry jasper hill cheeses (my favorite). My negatives: Prices: its worth supporting local businesses but if its an item that *isnt* local or at least semi-popular there are good chances its at another store (most likely yokes/roseauers/orange street) for considerably cheaper. Even local things such as farmer boy eggs, oxbow meats, mannix, black coffee. Are better bought from them or elsewhere. Purely for price. I 'm never impressed with the bakery, but this is very particular to my tastes, come early for local fresh bread. All in all. I really enjoy shopping here.
