El Cazador - Missoula

The food was quite disappointing, the service left much to be desired, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was mediocre. Additionally, it took an unnecessarily long time to receive our check. The only thing that stood out positively was the Mexican pizza. I would not recommend this place.

I was really disappointed with our service during our meal today. We arrived around 1 PM and sat in the beautiful new addition. We ordered two beers, the beef taquito appetizer, and the pork sopas. Unfortunately, the server didn't write anything down. Instead, she brought us the taquito dish, which was $5 more and had chicken instead of beef. I was going to mention it, but the lady next to us pointed out that her order was also incorrect; she ordered a beef flauta but received chicken as well. The chips had good flavor, but they were stale and had an old texture. Despite this experience, I still think this place is great, and I'm glad it wasn't my first visit.

Very friendly from the minute you walk in. Excellent service and fantastic food. They do have soft corn tortillas, the chips are delicious with the perfect heat level of salsa. Refried beans were delicious and even the rice was good and I'm not a big fan normally. Service was outstanding from beginning to end. 1 warning, when they say plates are hot, it's no joke. You could roast a marshmallow I think. We had the lunch specials. Enchilada was fantastic and they also ser e hard corn shell tacos if you prefer. Definitely worth traveling to and it is now my favorite in the state of Montana!!

This is authentic Mexican food! It's the best I've had since moving from California. The service was excellent, the chips were good, and the fresh salsa was delicious. The food was flavorful and much better than the previous downtown restaurant.

Love the food. Service is generally quick which is great. However, there 's a young female server who consistently calls me Hon. This is hugely annoying and totally inappropriate. I don 't know why so many young women think it 's okay. It 's overly familiar and presumptuous.
