Milano Pizza - Mississippi Mills

I have driven by many times, however the favorable trip advisor reviews tweaked my curiosity. The place is, let’s say a home in the wall takeout. The dining room is cordoned off and is no longer, and neither are the restrooms available. A one man show serviced by a large man who seemed to know what he was doing. Order a half combo/half vegetable medium, rounded off to $25 when I paid. It took about 15 minutes to prepare, while waiting five customers entered to order the pre cut slices. Looks like a popular item in Almonte. Took the pizza home warmed it up at 400 in the oven, and I must say that this was one awesome wheel. Loaded with an immense amount of real mozzarella cheese and totally fresh ingredients. Real sliced tomatoes. A 10/10 for sure. Will return, not only for the grungy premises but moreover the best takeout pizza I have had in years.

A very nice family oriented business. Stayed open throughout the entire pandemic to ensure our small community got delicious food whenever they were unable to go out. I personally recommend the Meal Deal Box, my favourite dish for sure!

So after leaving my last review (June 2020) true to my word I didn’t return for a year. Thought I’d try them again. I got my pizza AND I got a smile AND a Thank You. Pizza was awesome … I have to admit it is probably the best in town!

This pizza beats any, if you are looking for thick, cheesy, loaded with toppings, just right amount of sauce and crust, get the large! Always reliable, on time, never a problem. We order from here regularly.
