The Rec Room - Mississauga

The food is meh, I wouldn't come here to eat personally. Grabbing fries or chicken tenders for the kids to munch on is as far as I'll go. The nacho's wasn't good at all, I'd definitely skip on that next time. The calamari was good, but more asparagus than calamari. So again, keep food simple if you're with kids, eat some where else if you want to be satisfied with your meal. The rec room is always fun for games and hanging out. Will definitely go again with the kids, just will eat before next time.

This was the slowest service experience I've ever had at a restaurant. We watched our drinks sit ready at the bar for over 10 minutes and it took us calling over another waiter to please bring them to us. The first drinks we ordered were NOT good, they were watered down and tasted like they were missing most of what was supposed to be in them. Our table was not set so we had to take the forks and knives from two other tables. The food came luke warm and was decent, but nothing to compliment. Overall, go there for the games and maybe a snack but I would not recommend it for sit-down meals and service. One of our friends said they have also heard lots of other people had similar experiences to ours.

Gabriel provided amazing service! 5 stars He explained the different menu options for both adults and kids. Checking with us if we needed anything. He made our family and our friends' family enjoy our New Year's get together by giving the best service we could ask for. Thank you and we're definitely coming back.

We waited for 45 minutes from the time we were seated until we had to flag down the waitress ourselves. She seemed unaware that we were waiting. After calling the manager, who was very rude and seemed bothered by our request for assistance, he had to help bring our orders as they were short-staffed. In the end, he did compensate us with free game passes for the inconvenience. It took over an hour for us to receive our waters and another half hour for our food to arrive. We also waited an eternity for dessert, with the same manager making a snarky comment about not having three hands. Despite the lackluster service, the restaurant was not busy, so it was unclear why our orders took so long. The food was average, neither great nor terrible, but the restaurant is a good place to visit if you're primarily interested in playing games.
