The Keg Steakhouse Mississauaga Northwest

I visited this restaurant to celebrate a recent job promotion with a friend. The steak, as always, was fantastic, but I was disappointed with the mushroom rice, which is why I deducted a star. It was dry and bland, although I was able to salvage it by adding plenty of the cheese butter that comes with the bread. I should have mentioned this to the server, but I didn’t— my oversight. The service was excellent. The Billy Minor cake is my absolute favorite, and they kindly treated us to a slice as part of our celebration. I wouldn’t recommend the mushroom rice; I should have stuck with their delicious potatoes instead.

The steaks are incredible and perfectly cooked. The service is quick and meets all your needs.

From the moment we arrived being greeted by lovely welcoming hosts and greeted by Devon with amazing friendly and fun service we so enjoyed our 2 hour time together celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary . Our meals, refreshments and cheese cake we took home spoiled us and look forward to coming back.John DebbiePS would suggest cheese on the escargot and less curry spice of some sort. Never had that flavour before on escargot, strange. Would not recommend escargot. All else, great ?

We use to go to the Keg a lot pre COVID and since it’s been a bit less but starting to go more often. This time we were very surprised on the food and not in a good way. My chicken was super dry and my husbands steak was chewy. This hardly ever happened in the past and shouldn’t be happening now. Do better.

Our server Dylan was absolutely fantastic. Have to say it was one of the more enjoyable service experiences I have had at any restaurant lately. 10/10 for him.The food was the issue. A couple of my friends have been saying that the Keg overall has seen the quality of steak fallen off. I tend to agree.While being well seasoned, the steaks were chewy. Too much fat on the steaks.
