Thai Express Toronto - Mississauga

I am a regular customer of thai express, but this place is absolutely terrible. the service was extremely slow and lasted 26 minutes before I got my order. what happened to almost food? also the staff was extremely rude for those waiting for their food. also the food quality was not so great. avoid this place at all costs!

If I can give 0, I would love it. I ordered my eating with eppichen and it said it will be ready at 10:29. I waited and my app told me my food is ready for a pick-up, so I went and they told me that they are not ready yet. I waited for another 15 minutes, then I went up and asked her what was up. they said there's only one cook, so I have to wait or call to quit. as she said, I don't care to wait or cancel. without telling me when I went there when it says my food is ready for a pickup. they just give people a head-up what's going on, and they say it's sorry to take it long time instead of giving such a job.

I was excited to find this restaurant as it is kind of tucked in, out of the way. I am usually very happy with Thai Express as I find their food very consistent. Service and speed were just ok. Price was expensive which makes sense due to the location. Biggest issue was the chicken was burnt in the General Thai chicken. Also, very little sauce in the rice.

2 stars because the price is fair. 2 stars also be ause the cooks don't appear friendly at all ask for hot sauce and they look at you like you are an alien. The Tom Yum soup was very disappointing. It didn't even have the color Tom Yum soup usually has it was light yellow, more like chicken broth. The soup broth tasted very, very bland. I don't think this is the fault of the cooks. Either someone does not taste it when it is prepared or that someone has really bad taste buds. I would definitely not waste my money here again. And just FYI pretty much every staff member I met at Toronto Airport, other than the lady at the Body Shop, were all quite rude and standoff ish. It makes a huge difference having friendly staff, for your establishment and the people that are being served. I also didn't see a tip feature when I payed. Perhaps that would brighten them up a bit. And maybe soy sauce, hot sauce, hoison available where the cutlery is so that we don't have to disturb your staff and they don't look surprised.

I can't even explain how good it was eating at this place. I'm pretty picky and not a big fan of Pad-Thai but loved her. we tried the yellow curry and another chicken dish and all are exceptionally good. absolutely recommend it 100% and impressed by the food.
