Symposium Cafe Lounge - Mississauga

Good not great. Nice atmosphere, very exstensive menu. Perhaps too large. All day breakfast. $75.00 for 4 for lunch, no alcohol.

To be honest I've never actually eaten at the Symposium Cafe but I was attracted to the spot when my girlfriend took me and they had $4 martinis (Wednesday . I obviously agreed and now highly support Wednesdays : Wooow $4 martinis!!

The appetizers have set the mood for the evening. this chewing red chicken wing was a pretty bad start. we were on the side with the bench, and they could really take care of something; they are peeling and down, the whole restaurant could use some dc. the service is unusual, which commands forget, unstoppable staff. the dishes we had were mostly bland and generic food, certainly not great. the best eating that our group had was the hugging and the wagging, all the other was a big baptismal blah. not bleeding, only blah. Except these raw chicken wings were the 100% fade. I wouldn't come back.

Went for Mother's Day. This place does not take reservations, so plan for a potential wait on a busy day like this. Generous portions without being ridiculous, and the food was well cooked. I felt the eggs Benedict eggs could have used some seasoning and pepper but overall good and perfectly cooked peameal bacon. The fresh juice is also great, and perfect waffles. We do not recommend the French toast with caramel bananas, the bananas tasted not freshly prepared and an unpleasant texture. The server told us of computer issues and having to make manual tickets as well as being very busy so we understand why service was slow at times, but after ordering the food came pretty quickly. We have been here several times before and the food quality is very consistent.

Food was incredible, service so/so, the place is a bit dated, but I would go back again to give it another try. We were there with a large group in the private room and one person's order was forgotten, and the server kept speaking loudly over the guest speaker presenting. He also forgot who ordered what even though he took our orders in order of seating and none of us moved. I loved my meal and so did my colleagues surrounding me. That is why I will go back hopefully to try their breakfast with my family.
