There's something wrong with all the great reviews. These people either went when they first opened or they have never had a veal sandwich before. I feel bad rating this place so low but I can tell you it doesn't rate anywhere near a California...More

My husband and I have made ordering from here a staple. The veal sandwiches are simply delicious. The cheese sticks and marinara sauce are a great side to go with them too.

The steak sandwich with onions is disgusting. Sauce tastes like from a jar of Ragu. Steak is chopped up like for a fajita and so many onions might as well be an onion sandwich. completely flavourless, not even salted properly. I can't believe they say they worked with a chef in Italy to perfect their sauce. It's awful.I grew up in the hood in downtown TO and California sandwiches rocks, this place is gross.

This place is hard to spot as they have been redoing the building. Its on the south side just past cawthra. The veal sandwich with peppers and mushrooms has a very tasty tomato sauce. I have stopped and brought it home for dinner several times. The eggplant sandwich is very addictive as well. MMMM

HUGE portion - got mine with onions and provolone cheese. Lots of veal, great tasting sauce, and the bun was nice and fresh. Very friendly staff. All in - about $10.
