Salt & Pepper - Mississauga

Before a few weeks sat, eating was good, service was good! we had a private room and it was big enough for a group of 15-20 with children. I liked her lunch special of $7.99 and the portions were great, great prizes! thank you!

The Chinese food at this restaurant lacks authenticity. The atmosphere is lacking and unimpressive. The food quality was subpar. I have no desire to return. It would be more fitting to call this a Pakistani restaurant rather than Chinese.

We were on Saturday night. Restaurant had a table. That should have been our first point. Service was super slow. We had to go and get our own napkins, had to ask for a disposable glass for our child, and I was standing with jug in my hand to alert the waiters. He went right past me without notice. The main course came well after we were made with appetizers. As far as food is concerned, dry gobhi manchurian was very thinly coated, not crispy at all. Veg Hakka noodles and veg roasted rice were only Hakka noodles and roasted rice, barely visible vegetables. Noodles in soup stinked. Shahi Tukda Gravy was too watery. Soup spoons were broken and dirty, even after the demand for a replacement. Over all, disappointing place in an option hard as Mississauga. Definitely not worth another visit.

I live in another province and often travel to YYZ to stay often in Brampton or Mississauga and almost always come to dinner. As someone working in a top notch company for customer service, I have expected a good customer service....Salt and Pepper has great food, which is why I keep going, but when it comes to customer service they have NONE. You never check on you while you eat. The water they put on your table is room temperature. The spices always look old and dusty. I'd never put them on my food. My tips (if I even decide to reflect the service they offer). I don't understand why or how they do this and manage to stay in business. I guess the food is just so good.
