Bidrage med feedbackI used to love this restaurant in the past, but it has lost its charm. My omelette had a hair in it, the elderly lady at the back of the restaurant made rude gestures, and the waitress advised us not to order bottled water because plastic is bad for our health. Sadly, I will not be returning.
After visiting this restaurant for the first time, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the beef was tender and juicy. The service was excellent. We will definitely be coming back.
Frozen in time, this place serves the same food it served fifty years ago, and in the same setting. The quintessential North American diner, you know exactly what you 'll be getting here. No gimmicks, no surprises, no fake '60s posters on the wall. Large parking...lot, and easy access to/from Hurontario southbound.
This place has the makings of a decent breakfast, even properly done home fries. Sadly the home fries are tasteless. Some spice is needed.
We decided to eat here as it is close to our home and the other more popular breakfast place had a line up. I was pleasantly surprised! We had to wait a while (5 minutes)for our waitress to come see us and she was truly...apologetic for the delay, but the place really was busy on Sunday. However, by the time we ordered our food, she brought our coffee, and surprised us with our food. It was tasty, good portioned, and the rye bread was delicious and the meal was reasonably priced.
